National Alpaca Farm Day
September 29-30 , 2007
Talking Creek Farm participated in National Alpaca Farm Day the last weekend of September 2007. All across the nation, alpaca farms were open to educate the public about alpacas. About 50-60 visitors came to visit our farm during the 2-day span.

Two-Day CAMELIDynamics Workshop
With Dorothy (Radar) Hunt, Certified Practitioner 2
November 3-4, 2007
Talking Creek Farm held a Two-Day Camelidynamics Workshop In November. Instructor Radar Hunt taught us valuable techniques to respectfully interact and work with alpacas, including halter training, leading, how to give restraint-free injections, etc. It was a busy class that was packed full of information we will use daily as we work with our alpacas. We were proud to include several veterinarians and vet students from the University of Georgia in the class.
