Foundation Herd

Our foundation herd consists of 6 girls we purchased from Ridgeview Farm Southern Suris.  Our girls have outstanding alpaca genetics including those from Fuego, Meteor, Burxo, Elar, Aurero and more recent herdsires, Peach Boy, and Suri Lee.

DOB: May 27, 2003 Sire: Suri Lee (812331) Dam: Josie (152277) Awards: 4th Place, 2004 AOBA National Halter Show Amelia Marie had her first cria (Maggie Marie), a Peach Boy daughter, at our farm.  Maggie was too young to take to the spring shows this year, but we expect her to do very well in the shows next year at 1 1/2 years old.  Amelia Marie is currently rebred to Peach Boy, Maggie's sire, to see if we can get another beautiful cria like Maggie.

DOB: Sept. 16, 2002 Sire: Suri Lee (812331) Dam: Aurnetta (164732) Awards: Reserve Color Champion, 2004 Southern Select 2nd Place, 2004 Southern Select2nd Place, 2004 Sunshine State Alpaca Expo Aura Lee's first cria was our award-winning future herdsire McGregor, and in late 2006 she gave us Aurabella, who looks like a twin to her full brother McGregor.  We expect Aurabella to do very well in the 08 spring shows.  Aura Lee is currently bred to champion herdsire, Snowmass Lightning Locks.

DOB: Jan 1, 1997 Sire: Unknown Dam: Unknown Isadora has produced many award-winning, big-boned crias and late last year presented us with Turbo Twister, a Maserati of PVA son, who we expect to grow into a herdsire that produces strong, beautiful crias, just as his sire and grandsire Cantano have done.  Isadora is currently bred to Godiva's Peruvian Royal Chocolatier, another award-winning herdsire.

DOB: Aug 29, 2001 Sire: Peach Boy (170501) Dam: Evie (168762) Awards: Reserve Color Champion, 2002 Western Ohio Triple Crown 2nd Place, Western Ohio Triple Crown 2nd Place, 2002 AOBA National Halter Show 1st Place, Txolan Alpaca Spectacular 2nd Place, MaPaca Eastern Alpaca Jubilee Melba is a big-boned girl with great expectations for future crias who posses her traits.  Before we purchased her, she produced Peach Flambe',  who was Color Champion at the 2005 MaPaca Jubilee.  Melba is currently bred to Godiva's Peruvian Royal Chocolatier.

Larger Image	DOB: Apr 2, 1995 Sire: Unknown Dam: Unknown Shannon was the first alpaca we purchased.  She had just produced the highest selling cria (Licoricia) sold at the 2003 AOBA auction, who sold for $50,000.  Shannon has produced our true-black herdsire, Dooley Donn and is currently bred to Godiva's Peruvian Royal Chocolatier.
